A charming fishing village a few km. east of Havana City that was made internationally famous by the American writer Ernest Hemingway for choosing it to be the setting for his renowned novel “The Old Man and The Sea." Here you can find the famous landmark of the author in a charming town square where his bust is made out of the metal scraps of boats which were donations of his local fishermen friends and the La Terraza restaurant, which was commonly frequented by the legendary writer in the 1950s.
